To Explore And Practice Of CAPP Based On Group Technology In A Manufacturing Enterprise

Today, with the development of science, the traditional process design could not meet the needs of the manufacturing machinery, computer integrated manufacturing system (CIMS) came into being. The research and development of Computer Aided process Planning (CAPP) is the technical foundation for the applications of CIMS in an enterprise. To use CAPP in an industry of machinery is important of the realization.This thesis detailed mainly designing principle and application means of CAPP based on Group Technology. With the information of CIMS becoming more and more deepened and perfect, new requirements are put forward for the modern Computer Aided process Planning (CAPP) system. The targets of CAPP are the development of integrated, tools, network and intelligent. In this dissertation, the road construction machinery products are induced to the CAPP system's demand, based on a comprehensive analysis of the characteristics of the road construction machinery products design process and management, in the first phase project of CIMS the CAPP system's development of my company, analyzed the classification coding technology and the code classification principle of the parts of the road construction machinery products, analyzed the specific applications of group technology in the CAPP system, then described the CAD / CAPP / CAM / PDM information integration and CAPP / MIS information integration systems, and explained the characteristics of basic components and that the applications in the process design of CAPP. In this paper described CAPP specific applications in my company used group technology.This thesis discussed the developments and practical applications of CAPP system in an enterprise. In this paper, I try to get the actual design theory that supports the implementation of CIMS in an enterprise, to improve manufacture level and total values of my enterprise.Through my studies of this thesis, new ideas are following: With the development of advanced manufacturing technology, such as CIMS, new requirements are put forward for the modern Computer Aided process Planning (CAPP) system.
