| Based on the rock slope engineering of Shang man highway, this paper, according to the state of rock slope along the road, has carried out domestic and international relevant information research and the engineering investigations, to every slopes' influence elements,stability and protection scheme took further research. Prime tasks including the following aspects:(1)Through detailed field investigation, combined with the local physical geography and environmental conditions, carried on statistics and classification of the slops along the road, and analyzed disease characteristics and the development of the disease situation of the slope in Shangman highway; and summed up the rock slope stability factor.(2)According to the rock slope with different strength characteristics and rock types along the road, respectively, applied different calculation formulas and analysis methods aboat stability evaluation of slope: For the area of metamorphic rocks, magmatic rocks, its stability controlled by the structural plane, applied limit equilibrium method to calculate the stability coefficient of this type slope, and evaluated quantitatively the rock slope stability. At the same time, for the slope with the failure mode such as rock dumping, wedge destroyed, outburst damage, combined with the limit equilibrium method and mechanical analysis; and for the collapse and spalling, combined with the limit equilibrium method and the engineering geological; but for the mudstone slopes in the areas, applied minimum potential energy theory, and established its stability calculation.(3)Analyzed and summarized all kinds of slope protections along Shang man highway. According to the need to consider several schemes and targets in slope protection, introduced into optimization theory about entropy multipurpose decision, established optimization model of rock slope protection program to optimize the programs, and to select the best technology and the easiest implementation of protective programs.
