As GIS technology has become more and more sophisticated and widespread, lager-scale spatial information infrastructure is in progress in many industries and area. The construction of "digital rail" has become the focus of railway development tasks. Railway electric department is mainly responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of electric equipments. It is one of the main technical departments to ensure the safety of the railway and efficiency of transportation. Because larger number of railway electric equipments along the railway line, the problem that how to improve the efficiency of equipment maintenance, achieve the monitoring of electric equipments and ensure the safety of railway must be resolved quickly.This paper studied railway electrical integrated management system based on component-based GIS technology, which achieved assistant decision-making of equipment maintenance and monitoring of equipment condition. Firstly, this paper introduced the research status of GIS in railway information system. And, the basic theory of GIS was studied. Secondly, selective maintenance model of railway electric equipments was raised by analyzing the RCM theory and equipment maintenance management system. In the paper, logic analysis decision model of maintenance mode based on RCM theory was built from the qualitative analysis level. And fuzzy recognition decision model of maintenance mode based on closeness degree was built from the quantitative analysis level. These models could provide assistant decision-making for the selection of equipment maintenance mode. Based on the current status of the railway electric management. business process and data flow was rearranged. The design of overall system structure, function modules and database were completed. Finally, key technologies about GIS used in the system was studied in the paper. And the development and realization of the main functional modules was introduced.Thirty-nine figures, twelve tables, fifty-five references.
