Abstract/Summary:
Mass Customization Design is the design methods to realize mass customization of product, and product family configuration design is the one of the main methods for mass customization design. Using product configuration technology, the product meeting the customer requirements can be designed in a short time. It reuses the mature product resource of the enterprise, and greatly reduces product design time and cost.In this paper, due to the deficiency in interface between components in product family configuration method at present, a new product configuration design method based on relationship-matter element reasoning is researched, which is combined with the relationship-matter element, extension distance theory, and case-based reasoning. The main research contents in this thesis include:1. It is introduced the elementary theory of extension logic. It also builds the product model based on relationship-matter element combining with the popular knowledge-representation and extension knowledge-representation, and the configuration model for the product family design2. The variant interval similarity measures are suggested. The new similarity measurements are built by the improvement of the extension distance between intervals, and between points with interval, which exactly describes the position the points in an interval. And the dynamics of the weight distribution is discussed.3. The relation-matter element reasoning method is presented According to the configuration model and similarity measurement, the paper proposes the detailed implementation process of product configuration based on relation-matter element reasoning method and the structure mapped from the customer requirements. Finally, configuration scenario is outputted by the comprehensive evaluation of similarity and interface.4. Utilizing all the proposed methods in the paper, it brings out a prototype system of gas Chainsaw product family configuration design based on the software SolidWorks and VisualC++6.0. And the structure graph and functions interface of customer gas Chainsaw are introduced. 5. Finally, summing-up is made for the full text, the deficiencies and further study prospect is proposed.
