The Temporal And Spatial Variation Characteristics In The Main Traffic Intersection Of Changchun City Since The 80's

Since the 20th century 80's, the urbanization of Changchun city has rapidly developed. The city has been expanding. The total motor vehicles has doubled, especially private car ownership has rising sharply in the rapidly development of urban transportation at the same time. All kinds of progressive urban traffic problems apparent, especially the urban road .intersection affects the capacity of the entire traffic network. The insufficient capacity of intersections has caused the majority of day-to-day traffic jams. We must find some solutions to the urban traffic problems.The paper analyzes the traffic dates since the 20th century 80's of the main traffic intersections of Changchun city, and finds out the changes, then analyzes the reasons for the changes, at last, proposes solutions to traffic problems of Changchun. The full paper is divided into five parts: the first part of the paper is about the research background, purpose and significance of research and research methods; the second part analyzes the traffic characteristics of main intersections change over time, including the date changes, changes in years and years of interannual variation; the third part uses three-dimensional visualization technology ArcScene of ArcGIS to show the three-dimensional about traffic intersections, and uses the trend analysis module of ArcGIS to analysis the traffic date of the main intersections in space; the fourth part is about the Space-time coupling of the traffic of the main intersections in Changchun; the fifth part summarizes up the traffic problems of Changchun City, and proposes solutions.
