It is critical effect to grip the dynamic characteristic of boiler drum level which establishes the dynamic mathematical model and do research analysis on simulation.Drum water level control is a difficult point in the boiler control. At present,the power plant adopt drum level cascade three-parameter control system based on traditional PID control,it is more difficult to obtain satisfactory control performance when the operating condition has greater changes. For the security and economic of power plant,research the new control method which can overcome the disadvantages of traditional drum level control system has important meaning.According to the simulation model of drum level of 360MW unit in LUO HUANG power station, dynamic characteristic of the model is abstained by simulation experiment in Matlab/Simulink platform. Simulation studies have shown that the model can satisfy the requirements of system simulation.
