Study On Icing Flashover Performance And Its Prevention Of 220kV Transmission Lines Insulator

Firstly the article introduces field investion and accident analysis according to example of 220kV transmission lines icing accident. Secondly the paper analyse the characteristic and rules of icing insulator chain flashover, accordingly gained statistic data of transmission lines and insulator in the state of nature icing. Finally the paper study flashover characteristic, discharge rule and its weather dirtiness condition of icing insulator by means of simulating weather conditions of transmission lines icing flashover in locale and laboratory.The author optimize collocate of insulator shed and design two new insulators,finally bring forward technique measure and method to prevent 220kV transmission lines insulator accruing icing flashover.
