In this paper, it sets up the thermo-economy state equation of a 600 MW condensing unit according to the matrix analytical method of thermodynamic system. On-line calculates the main operating parameters and all the kinds of thermal economy index target values of thermodynamic system and its main sub-system by means of VB. All these can be acted as the basis in the safety and economy analysis. Application of equivalent enthalpy drop method and small perturbation theory analysis, which is used to quantitative analysis of a thermodynamic system and its main sub-system under load and the extent of the impact of the economic as well as losses caused by the main operating parameters deviate from the goal of economic units, can provide guidance to the crew safety analysis. A security analysis system was built by the RBF neural network in the MATLAB toolbox, and the safety and economy of the unit was improved. The system is intuitive, simple and friendly with the man-machine interface, user-friendly operation staff.
