As the electric driving technology and variable frequency speed regulation technology develop, large-capacity high-voltage frequency control technology has been widely applied in the energy saving field. In this paper, the related Issues of high-voltage inverter technology are analyzed, the scheme of frequency conversion renovation is determined in light of the working principle of condensation pump and on-site survey data. Then the paper introduces the basic principles of variable frequency speed regulation, studies the topology high-voltage converter, control methods, modulation methods, etc, and analyses the harmonic fiction performance of power unit series multi-level inverter. In the above basis, design a program of 6KV, 500KW condensate pump motor variable frequency speed regulation on the use of ZINVERT series of high-voltage inverter combined with improvement project of north united power corporation Linhe thermoelectricity plant.
