| Distributed generation and Micro grid technologies are expected to be the solution against the drawback of the traditional power generation. Due to the impact of DG to the operation and control of the modern power system, especially adding distributed generation to the traditional distribution network, the DMS system of traditional distribution network needs to increase corresponding management and control functions to distributed generation. This paper researches the Micro Grid and the Common Information Module of the generation system, studies and designs the data platform of central management system, which manages and controls the operation of the Micro Grid, and developes the main modules of SCADA subsystem. And at the same time of the development, this paper presents models expansion of wind power generation and photovoltaic power generation, which in accordance with power system Common Information Model in IEC61970 standards promulgated by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), to ease of distributed generation with renewable power generation units integrates with the DMS of large power grids, through entities analysis taking wind power and photovoltaic power generation as an example. These models have been used in the development of the Micro Grid Laboratory Central Management System. |
