In this paper, in order to meet the expanding demand of a tire company boiler equipment, on the background that current energy-saving and emission-reduction mission is very arduous in our country , using the geographical advantage of which is located in the main producing rice and other crops areas, a new biomass boiler was built to replace coal-fired boiler. around the new biomass burning medium, in accordance with the requirements of the boiler control tasks , the biomass fuel boiler control strategies including drum water level control system,superheated steam temperature and combustion control system were studied. At the same time combining with the characteristics of the boiler object and the existing boiler control status, from these aspects such as the integrated automation system's reliability, openness and scalability, comparative analysis of several popular fieldbus, the advantages of the FCS compared to DCS and the feasibility of the CAN bus technology used in biomass fuel boilers were made ,in the end a FCS control system based on the CAN fieldbus biomass fuel boiler control systems was developed, it can be compatible with the existing DCS systems , the human-computer interface developed on the configuration software is very friendly, easily to operate ,so it realized the monitoring and management functions.As the boiler combustion process is a process of large inertia, pure time delay, time-varying parameters and complex multiple-input multiple-output, it is difficult to produce good results to use fixed air-fuel ratio and correcting oxygen content, at the same time the previous researchers rarely involved in this field, operators had little experience, so fuzzy elf-optimizing control algorithm technology with the highest calorie goal signal for the optimization based on the conventional PID control was introduced to control the air-fuel ratio for the boiler combustion control to achieve the desired result that the biomass boilers has a high burning efficiency and heat value, less exhaust emission , as well as significant energy-saving advantages, the best thermal and heat value of the boiler, the biomass fuel burning boilers to of coal-fired boiler, this biomass boiler living fuels to promote the exploration of useful applications, the biomass fuels has the obvious low cost advantages over the coal-fired boiler, moreover the FCS control system has many functions that DCS does not have, it attained the purpose of both enterprise equipment's expansion and technology upgrade. So the application of biomass boiler creates not only good economic benefits but also social benefits.
