| Urban landscape preservation has sprung up during the process of urbanization. People usually make efforts to protect ancient buildings, historical sites and cultural landscape, while less concerning natural environment and scenery. As one of the typical scenery left behind in the urban planning area, Urban Remnant Natural Area provides a good place for visitors to enjoy high aesthetic value which is not available in their daily life. Some experts have carried out ecological researches on its definition, characteristics, planning and evaluation, but ignoring its aesthetic value and landscape assessment.On the basis of above reasons, this paper studies the landscape aesthetic assessment of Urban Remnant Natural Area. The main contents and conclusions are listed as follows: Urban Remnant Natural Area includes natural landscape, artificial landscape and cultural landscape. Natural landscape comprises climate, landform, water, animal and plant. Artificial landscape is composed of road and building. Then plant landscape can be further divided into three levels in accordance with scale, matrix and structure.2) Landscape aesthetic valueThe aesthetic value of Urban Remnant Natural Area is fully analyzed in subjective and objective aspects. In one hand, aesthetical subject contains intuitive and logical sense of beauty. In the other hand, aesthetical object is made up of different forms, compositions and levels. According to different forms, it is classified into natural, social and artistic value. As for different compositions, it involves natural, artificial and cultural sectors. Lastly, functional, formal, conceptive and comprehensive beauties are gained due to different levels of understanding.3) Landscape aesthetic assessmentSummarizing and comparing different methods, psychophysical method is chosen to establish the landscape assessment system, namely acquiring scenic beauty value by SBE method, dividing into related aesthetic predictors by SD method, and setting up their connection model by multiple linear regression analysis.4) Application in ShanghaiEcological Park in Shanghai Jiangwan Town is applied as a typical example. The landscape assessment model is established with both qualitative and quantitative analysis of scenic beauty value and aesthetic predictors. In the end, suggestions are made for its landscape preservation and planning. |
