The Design Research Of Commercial Inner-street

Commercial architecture plays a more and more important role in the modern city along with the rapid development of economy in China.The commercial buildings exist not only as inherent commercial environment,but also as the living environment of the customers.The inner streets,the essential part inside the commercial buildings, are widely used to construct the inner space of the modern commercial buildings.They become to the core areas for living and consuming in city.The paper begins with reviewing the historical background of commercial architecture and its evolution,as a guide to look into the forming and development of the inner street studied in this paper.Then some typical cases are chosen for deep character analysis of both their spatial design and unspacial design.Through the cross-section analysis of those cases,the civic features,function features and design features of the commercial inner street are concluded and summarized at last,together with its design prospect.The contributions of is paper can be summarized as follow.Firstly,the research on evolution and development of commercial building can offer a historical reference to the design of their inner space.Secondly,introduction of the nowadays design condition of commercial building inner space through immersive case study can reflect the different design concepts and methods between abroad and China.Thirdly,the relationship between commercial building inner space and the city is established to summarize their function demands,which will guide the design.Last,advanced research on the building design itself by quantitative analysis of architecture spatial form,interface design,spatial scale,physical environment design and so forth,can provide reference to the specific design for commercial building inner space at some level. The paper aims at exploring the commercial inner street via the case analysis at home and abroad,and concluding the design prospect and key points by comparison and summation.
