The Research Of Ancient Cities Evolution Trends Of East Region Of Loess Plateau

Loess Plateau region is one of the important ancient birthplace of Chinese civilization.Let us put aside the ancient civilization,from the Western Zhou to the Tang Dynasty,Loess Plateau was the seat of the captial of unified dynasty as the country political and economic and cultural center.After the Tang Dynasty,as China capital moving eastward and northward,Loess Plateau underwent profound changes and lost the previous glory.It occupies special position- joint of agriculture and nomadism civilization,and also it is the most important strategic field,so the whole area is still creative and ascensive.Thus,in ancient Chinese political,cultural,economic, social and military fields,the Loess Plateau region occupies an important position.Cities are the product of regional civilizations.The emergence,development and change of the cities are inevitably influenced by the local natural,political,economic, cultural,military,scientific,technological and other factors.Changes of these factors will inevitably lead to changes of the city.Compared to other areas,the changes in the level of the ancient Loess Plateau region is pretty obvious in the natural,political, economic,cultural,social and other factors.Thus,collecting the development of the dries in the Loess Plateau region is of great signaficance to get to know the whole developing trend and development characteristics of the local city,deep understand the developing law of the human settlement in the ancient district and explore the value and features of the human settlement.Via the analysis of natural and cultural environment on the Loess Plateau,the scope of the study is fixed in the eastern region of the Loess Plateauwill.detemine t.Based on the previous studies,started with historical map and documents and compined with the specific field research,the thesis demonstrates a comparatively systematical analyse and study of the city's quantity,distribution status,formation and it's development impetus in different period of Loess Plateau by means of quantitative research and analysis.It is the first time to put forward the broken line and analytical graph of the Loess Plateau's ancient evolution pattern as a whole,summarizes two peaks and troughs of the city development in Loess Plateau Area.Also it sums up the changing trend and city development of hannxi,Shanxi,Henan,Gansu and other regions respectively.As can be seen from these studies,city development is closely related to national prosperity and social stability which are the basis & foundation of its development.The selection of the national political and cultural center's location directly affects the whole regional development pattern.The main reason,which results in the development of the cities on the Loess Plateau and the changes of the spatial patterns,can be concluded based on the integrated analysis of the city development on the Loess Plateau.Regional and special city cases can help analyse the impact of the five factors,natural environment,politics,military, economy and traffic etc.on the regional city pattern and city space pattern and thus enlarge the knowledge of the developing trend of the cities in the east of the Loess Plateau.In this article,through the specific quantitative methods and research analysis,we can clearly see the whole developing trend of the eastern region of the Loess Plateau, which lay certain acadamic basis to the research of the development history of the city on Loess Plateau and the human environment.
