Research On Communication Space In College Campus

With the development of higher education,better teaching environment is increasingly required,as well as communication space,where college students can study and communicate with each other.So here I would like to introduce the design of communication space in college campus,which is one of the important parts of physical environment,and also contributes to create a higher quality campus environment.At present,the mental health of college students has become the focus of social problems.We are amazed at students' crime because of being lonely,helpless and' weak-minded at school.Nowadays college students also bear great pressure for study and job hunting in the future.Therefore it's necessary for architect to rethink the design of communication space in campus,the new design should be helpful for the students to communicate well with others and develop better psychological quality.University campus is a very important place for culture exchange.Modem architecture theory stresses communication space between buildings.So the building of communication space in campus means a lot for the achievement of educational goal.The design should have its unique style and characteristics.Communication space in campus has a broad concept, which includes the place for students to exchange information,such as playground,road, grassland,teaching building,dorm,canteen and even toilet.How to make a good communication space where students could communicate with each other ferrly and enjoy beautiful design of building?Here I will take Huanghuai University as an example to testify this design concept in college campus.
