The Dynamical Mechanism Of The Development Of The Edge Cities Of Yangtze River Delta Interlocking Metropolitan Areas

This paper attempts to use the city and regional relationship theory and regional spatial structure theory,contact with the practice of the center city as well as the urban edge city of Yangtze River region to exploring the relationship between the two.By analysising the developing power mechanism of the urban edge city of Yangtze River region in different stages of development,I want to seeking the mechanism why those cities may be further marginalized in the special period of industrial transformation,and how to make them integration into the Yangtze River core Delta development process to helping them developing well and fast.The imbalance between regional core city and the edge may be face with enormous development opportunities or a severe challenge in the industrial transformation and regional spatial structure changing period.If we do not seize the opportunity,the situation that the labor,personnel,industry,capital of the edge may be concentration to the core probably more serious by the polarization effects..And only we seize the opportunity to constantly improve the power mechanism for the development,then there is likely to slow its speed of recession,even develop the echo effect.There are different developing mechanism at the at different stages of development of Yangtze River Delta region,the spatial structure is also evolving.The economy promote in to a high grade and the surrounding areas continue to developed through those continuous polarization - proliferation iterative process.As adjusting and promoting to Yangtze River Delta development strategies in the national level,the edge cities should adjust the development ideas to regard the expanded policies to research their own urban development strategies and clearly positioning the cities.Second,the edge cities should according its own industrial base and the future direction of industrial development of Yangtze River Delta region to adjust the industrial structure,accept the transfer of industry and promote industrial upgrading consciously into the Yangtze River Delta.Third,according to local realities and to plan for the command to adjust the spatial structure of urban development, reorganization of regional distribution,strengthening infrastructure construction, attracting a variety of elements to urban agglomeration,through industrial clustering, expanding urban development space,and promote the process of urbanization to formation of the city's comprehensive competitiveness.
