With the merits of rapidity, safety, punctual, environmental conservation, energy saving and so on, the urban rail transit has become the modern big cities'choice for the mass transit development. However, as a mass public transport system, the security in the process of its operation absorbs an increasing attention from people.This article focus on the acceleration's influence produced in the train movement process to the passengers'secure, taking the NO.2 Urban rail transit in Chongqing as a backing. This research has made an experiment to evaluate the acceleration of the train in the movement process, and made an analysis of the acceleration characteristics. Then this article, from the two aspects of speed controlling and geometric design, conducted the research for the security ensuring technology to the light rail transit in the operation.Introduced the Straddle Monorail System and the train acceleration-testing method, including the selection of testing methods, testing locations,and the treatment of the results and so on.Based on the treatment of the testing results, this research has made an analysis to the acceleration characteristics in different places on the line of the No.2 Chongqing light rail transit, and also discussed its impaction on the operational security. Research the correlation factors which affect the acceleration. Carry on the discussion from the two aspects of speed controlling mode and the linear condition, simultaneously pointed out that the linear condition has the decisive influence to the speed controlling mode.It carries on a discussion to the train speed controlling mode. After comparing the typical model with the atypical pattern, suggested adopt the typical model as far as possible.This article also has analyzed the influence produced by the linear condition to the speed and the acceleration. And it also has made a discussion among the super-elevation establishment, the plane curve radius, as well as the transition curve length for them intrinsic relations. Simultaneously, based on the superelevation time-variable rate analysis, we obtain that the train's speed is four power of exponent relations to the vehicles rotary acceleration, but a specific length of the transition curve can well alleviate the influence.Finally, the technology researched on security ensuring for the light rail transit based on the experiment and evaluation of train's acceleration was summarized. In due to alleviate the influence of the acceleration to the passengers personal safety in the operation process, it back-calculation the speed in the typical line curve, as a speed control point, while for the line that not been built, It puts forwards some design-related recommendations.
