Recent years,highway construction in China has been stepped into a period when the requirement of repair is as important as the construction.Been as an effective aged pavement maintenance method hot in place recycling(HIR) technology has shown prominent advantage. Compared with technical applications and researches of the hot recycling technology abroad, the applications in our country our country has certain advantage apart from the system info, design info and practice info.Therefore,we have to speed to research the hot recycling technology in order to set a suit of concrete technical criteria in recycling asphalt for ourselves.The study is based on the hot in-place recycling project of highway G102,from K643 to K676.In this project,we study on the test of old asphalt recycling and the technology of hot in-place recycling.It includes the following parts:1,Analysis the engineering feasibility,test and evaluate the construction quality of the technology of hot in-place recycling combining with the technical specifications for construction of highway asphalt pavement.Do research in the equipment and technology of in-place hot recycling asphalt pavement deeply,then analyzed and summarized the key factors for controlling the construction quality,combining with the construction situation in site and corresponding quality testing report The key factors were quantified in order to guide the future work conveniently.2,The asphalt from the PAV experiment was taken as the test asphalt and both the pavement performance index before and after recycling were measured,which was compared with that of the waste extractable asphalt.Changes and differences of performance for two kinds of recycled asphalts grown from the same rejuvenating agent were analyzed.Accordingly the criterion that judges the existence of unwanted trichloroethylene in the extractable asphalt recovered was obtained.3,The feasibility of recycling of the modified asphalt was analyzed theoretically and verified in experiment.Meanwhile,the regeneration process of modified asphalt pavement was simulated in laboratory combining with the current recycling equipment and construction technology.By virtue of the approach to modify the rejuvenating agent,having the aging asphalt modified is fulfilled.In addition,the feasibility of modification of the rejuvenating agent has been analyzed theoretically and verified in experiment.
