With the development of the global automotive market, the production and sales of vehicles have entered a higher level, and the numbers of cars are also expanding rapidly. However, the oil as the energy of current car is limited, and the resulting problems have become increasingly prominent, especially in energy and pollution aspect. Under the global energy crisis and the increasingly serious air pollution, in order to ensure the long-term and stabilizing development of the automotive industry, we must find alternative fuels or the way can reduce oil consumption, so many worldwide famous automobile manufacturers are developing energy-efficient cars, such as electric vehicle, in particularly hybrid electric vehicle development.Around the world against the backdrop of economic recession, all countries are committed to the development of clean energy vehicles. And the hybrid-type because of its excellent environmental protection and low fuel consumption has been the industry's concerns. Hybrid garbage trucks not only meet the driving demand for the driver, but its performance is also very suitable for garbage collection vehicles "stop and walk" the application requirements, to achieve a perfect combination of both. Therefore, the hybrid garbage truck is in the very bright prospects for a certain period of time. To sum up, the research of hybrid garbage trucks is very important and far-reaching significance.This paper focus on the topic of Qingdao hybrid pressured garbage dumper industry. Hybrid electric vehicle drive system of the structure is divided into series, parallel and series-parallel combined three types. First and the most, according to three types with advantages and disadvantages, and combining the parameters of the prototype vehicles, this paper chooses a parallel structure. And then in accordance with the structure the writer designs two different power train systems. Comparing two different designs this article chooses the second one. Secondly According to the parameters of the prototype vehicles the writer determines the type and parameters of engine, electric motor, batteries and drive system. Last but not the least followed by the actual situation at home and abroad, in an analysis of the development of hybrid vehicles and hybrid electric vehicle simulation software development, based on MATLAB / SIMULINK for simulation platform, this article establishes the engine model, the motor model, power train model and vehicle resistance model. Use simulation software advisor, cite its own model of the vehicle control strategy, and compile m file about simulation model components of vehicle of hybrid garbage truck. And then in accordance with its simulation model and results of simulation of vehicle, this paper compare with the existing non-hybrid refuse collection vehicles about their power performance and economical efficiency, and verify the rationality and effectiveness of the control strategy. Finally it is confirmed that the hybrid vehicle combining a variety of working model can greatly improve the vehicle's power performance and fuel economy.To sum up, through an integrated simulation this paper verifies the feasibility of the design, the selection of matching and the accuracy of simulation models.
