Automation of marine power station plays an important part in the automation of engine room,whose main purpose is to keep the continuity,reliability and quality of power supply.In recent years,with the development of computer,communication control,and network,the structure of automation system changes greatly.the thesis has designed a marine power automation system base on Programmable Logic Controller(PLC)and Ethernet network communication,which can improve the system reliability,security and economy,using advanced industrial control technology, computer technology,network technology and communication technologyThe monitoring system consists of upper and lower machine components,and the lower machine is composed of one Siemens S7-300 PLC and three Generator Paralleling Controller(GPC).The S7-300 PLC controls the three GPC respectively and the GPC control a generator independently.In order to transmit monitoring data of GPC to upper machine,the system develop a Switch device.Via this equipment, we can carry out Serial communication with GPC and upper machine.baseed on OLE for Process Control technology,the upper machin and the S7-300PLC used SIMATIC NET Ethernet protocol to realize real-time communication This may also cause the marine power plant very good to hang on the entire ship network system,to realize the unmanned engine room automation to provide the foundation.the designed program of PLC with using the programme software of the company of Siemens,to realize the supervisory control and data acquisition.In the upper machine the Labview 8.6 DSC modules was connected with the OPC server,and setted variable according to the internal address of PLC in the OPC Item in word to achieve the communication between the upper and lower machine Using the configuration software Labeview,this paper has designed the monitoring software of PC,and the human machine interface has also been designed combined with the control function and operation habit of automation power station.The friendly and visualized human machine interface can make the operator know the running state of the whole power station monitoring system,and then gives the control command according to the different local circumstance.The supervisory system of the marine power plant which based on LabVIEW and PLC has been debugged in the Laboratory.Realized the real-time monitoring function basically,which has achieved our anticipated effect.
