Research On Operation Mode Of Pumped-Storage Power Station Under Energy-Saving Generation Dispatching Model

Through this paper,an overview has been given on pumped-storage power station, including its working principle,its significance in the electric power system as well as its development status both in China and abroad.On the basis of analysis to the various kinds of benefit produced by pumped-storage power station,it analyzed the various problems currently existing with the pumped-storage power stations in China.Meanwhile,an analysis is conducted on the specific situations of Panjiakou Pumped-storage Power Plant as an example. According to the energy-saving generation dispatching method implemented by the state,this paper analyzed the impacts on power generators of different types,proposed measures to reduce coal consumption for coal-firing power plants,based on which a joint management mode was assumed for pumped-storage power plant and thermal power plant,with its feasibility evaluated.On the basis of qualitative analysis,the joint management of Panjiakou Pumped-storage Power Plant and Douhe Power Plant was studied as an example,with its economic and social benefits analyzed and calculated on a quantitative basis.
