Abstract/Summary:
With the introduction of the de-regulation and power market,it becomes necessary for the power industry to optimize the operations of their systems in order to achieve less investment in new facilities.Since this could push the system to be exploited closer to its limits,reliability is playing a more important role in this industry.It has been recognized as a feasible approach to adopt advanced management for facilitics and equipments maintenance.In this thesis,an optimal maintenance system has been discussed and its implementation experimented which are aiming to integrate planned and unplanned maintenance in DaQi power plant to maximize the profit and minimize the outage of facilities.The details are discussed in five chapters of this thesis.In chapter 1 the background of this research is introduced,in chapter 2 and the following chapter a further comprehensive review on the researching developments in power industry home and abroad are discussed and based on which the optimal maintenance approach is presented.In chapter 4 the implementation of this optimal maintenance in DaQi plant is discussed,including design philosophy, experimentation and the finance benefit it brings with.
