In modern manufacturing enterprises, job-shop scheduling becomes the key to improve enterprises operation efficiency. Job-shop scheduling problem involves inhow to allocate tasks to the equipment and determine the sequence, the start and completion time, to meet specific performance indicators. As the complexity of the manufacturing system, the uncertainty of the production environment and the diversity of tasks and goals, it is very difficult to solve job-shop scheduling problem. In this paper, simulation and multi-agent method have been used, providing a feasible way to deal with the job-shop scheduling problem.First of all, this paper begins with computer simulation technology, studies the methods and strategies of discrete event system simulation, and sums up the simulation steps. As a typical discrete system, job-shop production system simulating technology has been studied, the principle and method of simulating scheduling has been summed up. A job-shop production model has been established based on an example of a job-shop with Witness simulation software.Secondly, aimed at structural features of the single agent and multi-agent system, coordination and communication method among multi-agent have been built. Build a multi-agent job-shop scheduling architecture based on the function model of the production system. The system is divided into manager agent, resource agent and task Agent. Adopt contract-net protocol based on tender and bid for consultation of agents. Analyze the bidding process of contract net protocol in detail. Lay the foundation to achieve the distributed, dynamic, multi-tasking job-shop scheduling system.Finally, devise the job-shop simulating scheduling tool based on the multi-agent scheduling framework with Witness simulation software, Visual Basic and Excel. It includes order management, resource management, simulation scheduling and other modules, to achieve automated simulation scheduling. The validity of the system has been verified by the above-mentioned method. Put forward the optimized scheduling program. It is an important reference for achieving the intelligence of the job-shop, optimizing the production process.
