This subject proposed a measurement method of gun-muzzle off-set based on PSD technology in the artillery. In this paper, introduce measuring principle of the method and system of measurement, discuss machinery structural design and optics structural design of system of the measurement and design of photoelectric conversion and signal acquisition detailedly. The system uses laser as a light source, through the optical system form a spot on the PSD, use the principle of PSD which export location only relate to the "center of gravity" of the incidence spot in order to off-set measurement of the spot, accordingly we can finish measuring gun-muzzle off-set. The measurement method gun-muzzle offset in the barrel, therefore, there are miscellaneous small optical interference, Clamping faster and more accurate, high repeat positioning accuracy.At the same time, LabVIEW is used as a data-processing platform for dealing with collection data. Finally we analyse sources of the measurement error, estimate the measurement accuracy of the method .The results show that measurement accuracy of the method is less than 0.05mil, in line with request of the measurement accuracy of gun- muzzle off- set, it is totally feasible that we can use this measurement method to measuring gun-muzzle off-set.
