The Study Of BIV Light Source

BIV is short for build-in vision which is feathered by inspecting the image when the laser is running. The main application is to observe and align in the beam path of laser system. It also can grab the objects for marking or dividing some processes.If we want to research BIV project, the light source is the key technology part. And also is factor that judging the BIV system. Its main target is to provide proper lighting for objects under inspection and increase contrast of image. A good light source system can greatly enhance resolution while an unsuitable one would cause lots of problems, for example, specular reflection and solarization may hide lots of important information. This thesis is the part of researching BIV project.The purpose of this thesis is logically assembling the light source of BIV system for designing and manufacture. Both of lighting techniques and spectrum are deeply analyzed here. Angle range is one of the most important factors and lots of experiments had been done to prove the importance of proper angle range. The color of spectrum is also important in light source system. In this way, it mikes image of BIV clearly for obtaining a high uniformity light source to assemble the laser system, marking system, CCD camera, light source system reasonably. That is much easier and exacter to marking or inspection. Finally purpose is to provide high quality light source for BIV system.
