Navigation techniques are the keys guidance and control task for missile carrying out precision attack. According to the navigation system which is applicable to the guide of the rotary projectile with high speed as background, considering the characteristic of the technical development of navigation and the requirements of miniaturization and high precision for the navigation system, and combining the high operation speed and precision of DSP, the author deals with researches on DSP's application in system of SNIS. A new method based on the DSP is put forward to design the hardware platform of the navigation system in this thesis.After analysis and model selection, the author designs the overall scheme on the basis of size, power consumption and process speed. An optimal novel hardware configuration and software working flow were designed sophisticated, and the system was finally realized with DSP controlling AD directly. In this scheme, DSP acts as its core data processor, and it performs the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)signal acquisition, buffering data and navigation algorithm. The thesis focuses on the introduction of hardware and software design of GFSINS, to implement the connection between each module interface then designs the entire system hardware platform and on this basis given the controlling software. In order to inspect and verify the design of the navigation system, it is tested and analyzed in detail together with the entire module.Owing to MATLAB is powerful in data processing and analysis, and DSP is effective in algorithm implementation, the author brings up an idea that combines MATLAB with DSP to develop DSP systems. It elaborates two kinds of tools to reach the goal with examples. Corresponding the mathematic model of the strap-down navigation system; the algorithm is designed and done in the software development of DSP.
