Deep hole drilling has been extensively applied in manufacturing industry. The condition of cutting and chip removal is a key factor that determines whether deep-hole drilling is successfully processed or not. It is essential to research on chip removal condition and spray and absorb effect in suction chip removal.The research object of this paper is the DF system, associated with introduction of other types of deep-hole machining system. And it makes the exposition to chip curling forms and chip breaking method. At the same time, it also analyses the distribution of guide bar and the Selection of cutting parameters. Thus we have a more comprehensive understanding of the whole of the drilling process.Static characteristic of oil system was analyzed in deep-hole drilling. Simplized model of the oil system was established, and simulation of flow field of deep-hole drilling oil system was carried out with the Fluent software, the law of oil pressure changing with hole depth in deep hole drilling was obtained, which provided foundation for monitoring whether chips are blocked or not in drilling process.Last, this paper presents the fluid characteristic equation with DF structure and develops a nozzle with improved structure. On this basis, the use of Fluent software analyses and makes a poignant contrast of ordinary nozzles and improved nozzles, verifing the prominent improment of ability of chip removal in path.
