Research Of Data Transmission Protocol Based On Low-voltage Power Line Carrier

According to the actuality and characteristics of power line communication currently, combined with the network structure of power line remote meter reading system, an improved ant colony algorithm is presented, which can achieve automatic routing in power line-carrier. The reliability of power line communication is the most important factor which limits the application of PLC in practice. After analyzed the protocols of PLC at present, a basic frame of the automatic routing protocol is put forward and a routing model is also given. When the point-to-point communication failed, this model can automatically search the relay path and can adapt to the time-changing characteristics of power line channel. The algorithm can ensure the validity of the data transmission, which facilitate the management of electric power departments. Research shows that the method can effectively extend the distance of power line carrier communication and enhance the reliability of the communication system.
