Steel-Concrete Composite Structures take advantage of the merits of steel and reinforced concrete,so it has better structural behaviour and can be better applied in high-rise buildings.On the one hand,the researches on Steel Tube Confined Concrete and Steel reinforced Concrete have grown up.Steel Tube Confined Concrete and Steel reinforced Concrete have merits and demerits respectively.The experiment and theory show that this composite column has the advantages of both Steel Tube Confined Concrete Column and Steel reinforced Concrete Column.This method can improve the bearing strength of column and restrain the development of shear diagonal crack in high strength concrete,and which improve the ductility of the column and avoid abruptly collapse of the structure.On the other hand,the research of failure criterion on RC structure and specimens has entered upon mature phases.In all these criteria,Park-Ang criterion is the most widely used.On the basis of the thing that forefathers study,double parameter failure criterion on Steel Reinforced-Steel Tube Confined Concrete Column will be researched in this thesis.The main research contents of this thesis include:1.The history of research on Steel-Concrete Composite Column is reviewed,and the actuality of the research on the experiment and theory is summed up in this thesis.2.The research of failure criterion on RC structure and specimens are summed up,from single parameter failure criterion to double parameter failure criterion,and the failing criterion based on the damage increment cumulation of single cyclic load.The classical Park-Ang criterion is mainly introduced, and especially for energy loss factorβ,which is detailed analysed of its influencing factor.Base on it,a double parameter failure criterion apply to Steel Reinforced Steel Tube Confined Concrete Column is proposed.3.Experiments are conducted to investigate the behavior composite columns under eccentric loading,and then analys the resolution of the data collected in the experiment.The influencing factors of energy loss factorβof the double parameter failure criterion is also analysed.The original empirical formula is rational changed.Regression analysis is conducted by using the data from test, and obtain the Park-Ang criterion apply to Steel Reinforced Steel Tube Confined Concrete Column.Verification is done by the data of Dalian University of Technology test,and the result can be accepted.4.Finite Element Analysis is done by using the software OpenSees for Steel Reinforced-Steel Tube Confined Concrete Columns.Based on ourselves test parameters and models,finite element analysis of eccentric compression column is carried on.Compared with the test data,the result of analysis is basically tallies,and the error is analysed.We get the feature points from the calculation curves,and verification is done on double parameter failure criterion which is proposed in this thesis.
