The rapid development of Zhuzhou raises higher demand of better water supply services in this city. The development strategies of water supply technology was studied in this thesis to meet both the current and long term water requirement based on the evaluation of water supply status quo of Zhuzhou.According to the analysis of water source and its quality of Zhuzhou, the total water demand was forecasted and the engineering measures of source area protection were proposed. The technology framework of emergency program architecture was established to treat with burst contaminating accident of water source. Specific technology strategies were also presented.Based on the performance test analysis of all water treatment plants in Zhuzhou, approaches to enhance water purification effect was proposed in three aspects: technology improvements of normal treatment process, pretreatment process and advanced treatment process. The architecture of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) was introduced into water quality control process of water treatment in Zhuzhou. According to seven principles and twelve application steps of HACCP architecture, the technology framework of HACCP was developed to control water quality in Zhuzhou.Principle factors was discussed in this thesis that affecting water quality in distribution network. Management strategies and engineering measures were proposed respectively to construct secondary water supply facilities and control water quality in distribution network. In order to decrease energy consumption, it was proposed to adopt optimization operating of water network by using macro mathematical model of network and hierarchical model of optimization. In order to control water loss, the cause of network leakage was discussed and according technology measures were listed, the initiative leakage detecting techniques were proposed as well.In the end, thesis summarization was concluded and a research prospect was presented.
