Linear motion is widely used in industry automation.Without special mechanical adjustments,Linear motor get linear motion directly.With a number of benefits including high peed,high precision,fast response,and zero backlashes,Linear motor will have wide application prospect.This thesis analyze in detail the operational principle and characteristics of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motors.Basing on the unification theory of motors,the author has established the mathematical models of the PMLSM in a-b-c coordinates,in d-q coordinates and inα-βcoordinates,respectively,via coordinates transformation.Considering the non-linearity and coupling characteristic of PMLSM,the author has applied a strategy of i_d=0.The vector control can improve the thrust control performance of PMLSM, but due to some uncertain reasons during the control process and Some disturbs or some uncertain factors of PMLSM,the controller's dynamic performance of the drive will become bad.The traditional PID controller can not satisfy the requests of high-performance control, such as accurate speed or torque control and robustness.A fuzzy PID controller is designed by combined fuzzy control with conventional PID control in this thesis.The simulation model of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor(PMLSM) and the vector control system is built by Matlab/Simulink.Simulation and experiment results show that the fuzzy PID controller is superior to the conventional PID speed controller in dynamic stability performance,this method can reduce transient and stable thrust ripple and has strong robustness to load disturbance.
