The rapid development of China economy and the high concentration of urban population,cause the steep rise of the Urban Traffic demand.Urban Rail Transit has advantages in the low transportation cost,large freight volume,low pollution and convenience.So constructing Urban Rail Transit has become the first scheme for solving the traffic problem in major cities all over the world. Network effect of Rail Traffic lines brings growing Socio-economic benefits for cities. At the same time,the Increase of Traffic Volume brings new problems.Based on the topic(Study on the Relationship between Traffic Density of Rail Traffic and Related Facilities) of Beijing Road Council,this paper does passenger surveys of Beijing Subway Line 1 and analyzes as followings:(1)Maximum capacity of escalator,security facilities,automatic ticket gates and passengers queuing situation are analyzed;(2)Distribution of waiting passengers of different structure types' platform is analyzed;(3)This paper dose curve fitting of traffic density and pedestrian speed in platform, staircase and passageway;(4)Traffic bottleneck in station is found out;(5)Discussion of main services optimization is being done.Studying the flow distribution of stations could make an objective evaluation for station service level,which is quite useful for new stations' design and amendment of Code for Design of Metro.
