The development of public transport is the preferred solution to the traffic problems. As an integral part of the urban public transportation system, the bus stop is one of the key factors affecting the efficiency of the entire public transportation system. The interference of bicycles on public buses at bus stop not only reduces the capacity of public transportation, but also creates a significant security risk. Model focused on microcosmic traffic behavior is one of the powerful tools for the study on mixed traffic, but now the research on the interference of bicycles on public buses is deficient and lack of sophisticated model and the related theoretical system.Under this background, the paper studies the interference of bicycles on public buses. Taking two different typical bus stops for example, this paper lays emphasis on the arriving process and then set up the bicycles' interference model with the buses. The main steps are summarized as follows: first of all, use video cameras to collect the data of the interference of bicycles on public buses at two different typical bus stops in Beijing. Then extracting the data as the basis for theoretical study. According the soring, inducting and statistics of these data, we got the main results of the data analysis include the distributions of bus decelerations and the analysis on all the factors that might influence. After that, bicycles' interference model with the buses were set up separately on the basis of data analysis and proved to be correctly. So the results provides a solid foundation for the simulation system of mixed traffic flow. After all above, this paper submits some measures to reduce the interference of bicycles on public buses.
