The AC brushless synchronous excitation generator is an important part of a synchronous generator and has direct influence on the running of generator. AC brushless synchronous excitation generator is a rotating-armature synchronous generator, which has a module of three-phase rectification bridge. The coaxial of main generator rotor, excitation electrical machinery rotor and the rectifier is connected. The three phase AC current generated by excitation generator is transformed to DC current and then pass it to main generator as its excitation current. The excitation regulator adjusts the exciting current of excitation generator to control the output of main generator. Because the pole of exciter is on the stator, the brush and ring are not needed, which is called brushless excitation.According to the researching of the AC brushless synchronous excitation generator around the world, in this thesis, based on the research of normal synchronous generator electromagnetism design, the electromagnetism design flow and arithmetic is discussed, including magnetic circuit calculation, armature reaction calculation and etc.And then, the research on the OOP visualization motor CAD software design course is introduced, including the construction of the software and the realization of arithmetic. For instance, the realization of curve fitting, the realization of dialog based human-computer conversation and etc.Currently there are many kinds of domestic asynchronous motor design CAD software, however, there are limited kinds of practical synchronous motor CAD software. In this thesis, the AC brushless synchronous excitation generator CAD software using OOP visualization is presented. Moreover, according to the data of motor factory, the output data of this software has reached the practical standard. Also, this software with great extendibility and practicability can output characteristic curve.
