Studies On Granulated Crumb Rubber Asphalt Mixture Performance In Clear Away Ice And Snow

In China, the winter snowfall makes the road pavement a very serious problem; it affects not only safety, but also affected the efficiency of road transport and economic development. For this reason starting from the road surface itself, that finds a scientific and effective suppression of surface snow ice technology as a big research direction.The granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture just has this performance as a mixture of new road.Mixture add the elastomeric character with the presence of rubber particles, it changed forced state and the road surface state of the bonding state from the road surface layer of ice, so that the road can effectively inhibit freezing snow, ice and snow road surface . Moreover, this new form of road mixture is used to solve the problem of rubber recycling, and the efficiency of economic and environmental protection is good.But, the applied research encountered many problems, one of problem which severely affected by the phenomenon of road threshing in test road, this article conducted a series of related experiments on use of performance; it will produce on a very important significance to granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture in road pavement.We gain some enlightenment according to asphalt mixture added with lime, cement, anti-stripping agent, including several additives to improve the use of asphalt mixture performance research at present. This article has effect pertinence research of the evaluation of the Results on only rubber asphalt mixture adds with lime. The hydrated lime instead mineral powder from granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture through methods of same volume. The results showed that the additive amount of lime to about 1.5% optimal performance, the mixture can solve threshing question on granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture, increasing road pavement performance use on granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture.The paper simulate laboratory melting ice and snow ,and evaluate it's experiments and result, it has a good effect to snow and ice that rubber asphalt mixture can inhibit, and draw a scope of application of ice and snow on granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture pavement.
