Highway construction has developed rapidly in more than 3 decades in china, especially the construction of asphalt pavement of high-grade highway currently maintained rapid growth. The asphalt pavement of high-grade highway which will go through such as the influence of climate, environment, also have to receive busy traffic which acted reciprocally. All these factors will lead the quality of pavement to decrease gradually, accompanying the crack, track, out-of-flatness, which had a strong impact on investment benefit. With the develop of high-grade highway, the maintenance will be more and more important.Aiming at these disadvantages, the paper will do in-depth study on service performance of asphalt pavement of high-grade highway. Based on the investigation of the current situation, the paper anaylized the main diseases of asphalt pavement of high-grade highway, also put forward measures. According to the latest achievements in this field, the treatise introduced the performance assessment index and norm, also some common evaluation models. The paper also introduced current evaluation models which have common used that applied in the pavement. By determining the asphalt pavement technical status of the individual target (road damage, road roughness, rutting, slip resistance and structural strength), and taking advantage of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to analysis the performance of high-grade asphalt pavement, determine evaluation factor set, fuzzy matrix and the weight of reviews, so set up the model based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and give a more scientific evaluation of the pavement performance. Simultaneously,it sets up a Matter-element model for turning qualitative prediction into quantitative prediction and evaluates the degree of road conditions in line with the standards of a Level by general level correlation. These methods have important practical significance because they provide a decision-making support for the performance and maintenance management of the asphalt pavement of high-grade highway.
