The component under the axial compressive load and bending moment is known as beam-column. Because of its functions, and generally appear in the rigid frame column, it also called beam-column for short. In a lot of steel constructions, it is not difficult to discover that there are a large number of beam-columns in the structure. In the beam-column, the components not only by the axial compressive load, while still in the role of cross-section subject to bending moment, as the complexity of the overall force, the elastic-plastic buckling analysis of beam-column is a great significance.The stability of steel structure is an important issue in the steel structure design, further study of the stability of steel structures theory and design methods to improve the construction of the project has an important significance. Domestic and foreign scholars in recent decades through the efforts of research, the stability of performance in the steel structure and stability of the theory of computing has made great progress, and improve the stability of the steel structure of the elastic-plastic theory, a lot of research about the initial defects and residual stress in steel force of the impact of performance is done, the use of numerical methods for solving the stability of the ultimate load of steel structure made a lot of results at the same time. Bonded FRP reinforcement technology compared with conventional repair methods have obvious advantages. Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer materials are in higher tensile strength, CFRP is the best overall performance of fiber composite materials.As the material nonlinearity and beginning of the geometrically nonlinear bending and residual stress also the carbon fiber-and-paste status nonlinear change of the steel, such analysis of multiple non-linear in ANSYS in the study became difficult to achieve.Based on ANSYS to study the instability of beam-column analysis in this paper, discussing when the components of different cross-sections and sizes, different constraints, as well as to consider the initial residual stress and geometric deficiencies, and many other factors of the ultimate bearing capacity of beam-column calculation process; and analyze the calculation of ultimate load process of the carbon fiber pasted H-beam. Compared the numerical simulation results with the theoretical formula results, the results show that the establishment of the finite element analysis model of elastic-plastic buckling analysis of beam-columns is feasible, therefore, it can verify the accuracy of numerical simulation in this article.
