Cutter Layout Design Of Full-face Rock Tunnel Boring Machine

The current research on the rock breaking mechanism of disc cutter and the mechanical prediction provides a basis for the exploration of the work force on the cutterhead of TBM.With cutterhead and disc cutter working as a whole,a mechanical model(force equilibrium equations) is built.Based on the existing research results,this force equilibrium equation,after being simplified,turns into a mathematical model(geometric equation) adopted to determine the position parameter(polar angle,polar radius) of disc cutter,which has been validated.The construction of mathematical model has been studied,with its analytical solution theory probed and the strategy of solution by stages to the location parameter of the disc cutter presented.An analysis of the layout of disc cutter of some imported TBM gives sufficient evidence to the feasibility and effectiveness of the mathematical model and its solution strategy.
