Discrete Ordinates(S_N) method is one of the most widely used method for the shielding design in the field of nuclear engineering due to its powerful capability to treat deep-penetration shielding problem.According to shielding design enchiridion, this thesis has studied the PWR(Pressurized Water Reactor) main shielding calculation with 3-D S_N code in our country. The key parameters were gain such as 3-D neutron and photon flux distribution, inner surface and 1/4 thick of the RPV fast neutron(E>1.0MeV,E>0.1MeV) flux distribution at axial and loop direction, neutron and photon dose rate and heat rate distribution in concrete wall.Meanwhile, the sensitivity of the source intensity, spectrum, temperature of the reflector were analyzed,it prove that 3-D S_N approach can be used for PWR main shielding calculation. The multi-group cross-section file based on ENDF/B-Ⅶevaluated nuclear data file MUSE1.0 were validated with H.B.R-2 benchmark, the result indicates that MUSE1.0 satisfies the accuracy requirement of PWR main shielding calculation.
