In recent years, the Informatization in power industry has developed fastly in China. And the information networks have been formed generally. However, many application systems of the power industry scattered from each other. The information can't be shared. So there are many Information Islands, which need for integration urgently.Grid technology, as a hot topic in different areas, has received more and more attention. In the feiod of power industry, data management systems require that the information resource has the characters of security, heterogeneous, real-time and dynamic distribution. Thus the modle of data management needs to be improved, and the Grid Technology can resolve this problem.This paper analyses the concept of the Information Resource Integration for Inner Mongolia Electric Power Group. Four of the integration methods are summed up as following, and the Grid Technology is chosed as the focus of this paper. The paper uses the level frameword which is accepted at large, and then introduces Grid Technology carefully. Subsequently, the overall situation and information resource of Inner Mogolia Power Group are described in detail. The existiong problems in information resource are also analysed, which lays a foundation to information integration. With the analysis aboved, the paper finally gives the planning of the information resource integration on the Inner Mongolia Electric Power Group. The the lever model and the data flow are designed. This paper names the direction for the integration.
