In order to find an economical and practical way to control the emission of gasoline engines, ensure motorcycle emissions meeting the Euro.â…¢emission standard, and successfully export motorcycles to European, and meet our country's phase III emission regulations, the thesis researched a new technology to solve the ZS157YMI engines and the LZX125-18 motorcycle exhaust emissions to meet the Euro.â…¢emission standard.First, though contrasting the Euro.â…¢emission standard and the Euroâ…¡,and considering the characteristics of the ZS157YMI engine and the LZX125-18 motorcycle, a open-loop control system to optimize and reduce emissions was proposed. The programmable ECU, electromagnetic-control valves, air intake manifold, emission after treatment, and other important components were designed and developed. Developed samples were tested, including components, engines and motorcycles. Optimized the experimental data, and determined reasonable design parameters. Produced test motorcycles, and gave them to the TUV testing. Undertook measures to guarantee the ZS157YMI engines and the LZX125-18 motorcycle production consistency.Test results show that: the open-loop control system be posed by "under the control of the programmable ECU supply before cylinder " and " emission after treatment by catalyst" can ensure that emissions of the LZX125-18 motorcycle meet with the requirements of the Euro.â…¢. This motorcycle has been tested to show that it was qualified by the TUV, and been awarded a certification by the RDW.
