Energy shortage,environment worsening and overpopulation are three issues for the development of human society.The energy source and environment issues are closely related to the development of automobile industry.The energy source is the most influential industry in the future,and it is always a huge global problem.The energy requirement,conservation and development are vital for politics,economy, military and scientific technology of each country.Those who solve the problems of energy shortage and energy development will lead the world in future.Mash gas, which can be made from agricultural organic waste,dejection,industrial organic waste water and thing,urban sewage,pollution and trash,is a renewable source of rich resource,inexpensive price,safe inflammation and clean emission.According to former firedamp generating experiment of Weichai as well as international gas-fired engine,we have designed shape of piston firebox and settled compression ratio of engine,camshaft route,valve angular overlap,and Venturi mixer parameter.Steyr ignition system and electric regulator of Datong Yunsida are equipped and verified to meet the need of firedamp generator set.Through experiment we summarize relations between exhaust temperature and preignition angle,load and excessive air coefficient,excessive air coefficient and thermal efficiency,impact of preignition angle and power,and the optimum parameters(ignition limit and optimum preignition angle,etc.) for 6160Q firedamp engine.Those data are foundation for development of TBD firedamp engine in future.
