Study On Indoor Living Environment Color Of Old People

With rapid development trend of our national old people population, aimed residential problems of current old people and referred to present situation home and abroad, creating high-quality indoor living environment for old people was the aim of this research.With development of society and continuous improvement of architectural technology, on indoor environment, old people not only required the environment to have perfect functions but also to be comfortable, beautiful, safe and healthy; on spirit, they required the environment to be more in concordance with their mentality. Herein, the role of indoor environment color was very important. Color, as important factor and component part of indoor living environment design, had aesthetic and practical functions as like other form language in design.In a fixed environment, color entered into human vision firstly, its treatment not only affected vision feeling of human but also affected the perception of human for space and form as well as emotion, work and living efficiency and health of human. The results of modern scientific research indicated that the psychological quality of human and the formation of healthy body and mind functions were obviously affected by object image form taken by visual system and especially affected by color directly, because color the first visual element that human observed natural form. Therefore, indoor color environment full of humanness would make the indoor space to embody more integral functionality.Circled around the color problem of old people indoor living environment, the paper stated the importance of old people living space color environment from the view of rationality, in addition, based on the characteristics and specific requirements of old people, by expatiating upon color basic theory and analyzing the function of color in room, indoor color environment design method suitable for old people was finally summarized on purpose of application in practice and creating harmonious and comfortable indoor environment for old people.
