Abstract/Summary:
Waterpower is one of the most important energy sources in the development of national economy. The core component of the hydropower station is turbine, and the turbine's working conditions plays a decisive role for the power station's overall performance. With the continuous development of hydropower industry, the turbine technology research always keeps progressing. Seeking the safe, efficient and stable operating conditions is still one of the important technical problems in the turbine's overflowing components research.CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) which develops recent years is flowing simulation technology. Especially appearing of the CFD model software system provides an economic, efficient and flexible study means for the turbulent flow mathematical simulation inside the turbines. Reasonable and effective application of CFD model software system for turbine full-flow road calculating and simulating becomes a new directions for the development of turbine flowing model research.This paper makes a systematic and detailed introduction of CFD technology. Through discussing the forms of k ??turbulence model, this paper chooses comparatively numerical model to the internal flow of the turbine, and comments modeling method of CFD. Then this paper conducts two-dimensional numerical simulation and analysis to the internal flow and the characteristics of the turbine.Paper's specific content of the work completed is shown as follows:1.According to actual hydraulic parameters of a specific station, two-dimensional partial and conjoined geometric model is established for total hydraulic turbine and its components such as diversion component ,guide organ, and runner blade;2.Research on the use of FLUENT software on the main turbine components mesh, border settings, parameters, solving a series of software applications, such as calculation of the key steps;3.Post-processing the convergence of the results ,this paper gains various regional distribution of the velocity vector, the contours of pressure, turbulence intensity contour distribution, to analyse the fluid flow characteristics, state and static and dynamic pressure numerical changes;4.Analysis of flow characteristics of Francis turbine in the optimal condition, this paper gains the flow information of turbine components, to comment the performance of turbine in both quantitative and qualitative aspects.
