New requirements have been put forth on design method and integration analysis prototyping method by complex products design, multi-disciplinary study, cooperation optimization, as well as problems concerning knowledge structure, management and reutilization. Rotor spider is a key part of hydrogenerator which connects magnetric yoke and ratating shaft.This paper presents related research on such issues and application of rotor spider.The main research content and achievements are as follows.1. Establish Intelligent Master Model and the knowledge model based-HOQ (House of Quality) for the hydrogenerator.Researching on the technical parameters which effect on Small and Middle Hydropower Stations hydrogenerator and their relationship, considering the selection of technical parameters for hydrogenerator'anti-abrasion and operation stability, considering the relation between customers'demand and key components. Meanwhile, it establishes the knowledge model based-HOQ for the hydrogenerator, which realizes control and estimate of the design parameters, and as the information of the Knowledge Based Engineering(KBE) of the intelligent product master model, it's an important part of the knowledge layer of the integrated analysis technology for rotor spider.2. Research on parametric modeling method based on the parametric analysis. Applying the method and realizing parametric model, which is a basic on the parametric analysis, so realizing the parametric design and analysis .Finding the key parameters in the existing knowledge model, it establishes the parametric model for rotor spider, so further realizing parametric finite element analysis for rotor spider.3. A reusable component analysis method featured by parameter driving has been proposed.Using analysis unit as the fundamental organization method for analysis knowledge, component analysis has been carried out on basic mechanism, realization process. Investigation has also been performed on parameter-driven model for complex product analysis and theoretical methodology for process layout. The analysis unit of rotor spider has been constructed , component analysis of rotor spider has been carried out. 4. A mapping method has been studied and established for component analysis and multi-disciplinary cooperation optimization.Taking analysis unit as the basic optimization unit and performance of complex product multi-disciplinary multi-level analysis unit as the optimization constraint, this method effectively integrates and uses mature analysis software of various fields and establishes the multi-level optimization model covering analysis unit optimization, disciplinary optimization and product optimization, making it possible for share of information and resources of various subjects and levels and optimal design for multi-disciplinary cooperation.Apply means such as MATLAB, finite element method analysis, to optimize the design of the rotor spider.
