Asphalt mixture is composed with mortar and aggregate. Good-graded asphalt mixture can ensure sufficient stability, thereby enhancing their overall ability to resist foreign forces; asphalt mortar is to play adhesion aggregate the role, which is the key factor of asphalt mixture viscoelastic.This paper design asphalt mixture from grading and mortar aspects. In order to ensure the stability of gradation, then the design of Interlocked-dense mineral aggregate gradation is brought forward.Giving aggregate penetration test methods, and recommended aggregate penetration strength to evaluation the stability of aggregate grade. In order to control the viscoelastic on asphalt mortar.Studied the formation mechanism of asphalt mortar, analyzed the impact of factors of asphalt mortar viscoelastic. Testing is taken on different F/A or add substitutes such as cement or lime to replacement of the miner of asphalt mortar, which has great influence on performance of mortar. Test result show that changing F/A, while altering amount of substitute, can improve the character of mortar. Using IDT test instead of Marshall test to determine the optimal amount of asphalt and recommended film thickness of asphalt to control the asphalt mortar dosage. Mixture of asphalt road performance was studied, focused on the impact of mix design method and mortar ameliorative method to improve the mixture of asphalt road performance. Analyzed the effect factors of mixture through testing some aspects of performance and evaluate the application effect of grading parameters. Establishment of the asphalt mixture permanent deformation experience forecast formula with two mechanical parameters. According to the theory of gray decision-making to optimization the aggregate gradation and mortar improvements, which have the best road performance.Gives the asphalt mixture design method based on the two parameters of aggregate penetration strength and indirect tensile strength, and gives flow chart. According to the two-parameter asphalt mixture design method paved test-road, study the construction technology requirements and practical application of results.
