Porous Asphalt Concrete(PAC)belongs to framework-pore structure with about 20% air voids, the kind of this pavement structure with large air voids could make rainfall infiltration directly, in order to replenish the groundwater and achieve good ecological benefits. Meanwhile, porous pavement has other many advantages, such as: porous, drainage, noise reduction, anti-slide performance and so on. Nowadays, with the environment protection consciousness more and more intense, porous pavement has been widely applied.This paper firstly according to the environment of porous pavement by drawing on the experience of other countries, analyzed on materials choosing and demands of porous pavement; base on a large quantity of experiment, study on the relationship between PAC air voids and passing ratio of key sieve; on the basis of this analysis, improved the mix design method of PAC, and aiming at the problem of determine optimum asphalt content, put forwards a new method for PAC to determine optimum asphalt content; research on the specimens of PAC with SGC forming, and compared with Marshall forming in the volume index, determine the reasonable gyrations number of SGC for PAC.Besides, analysis and verification on the road performance, such as: high-temperature performance, water stability, low temperature performance and strength performance. The result show that: there will be a well road performance with proper material and good graduation.
