Study On The Development Strategy Of Our Country's Public Transportation Priority

As the speed up of our country's urbanization, and the rapid improvement of urban economy and the living standards, mobility process speed up significantly. Giving priority to the development of public transport is not only the key to improving urban transport, but also directly related to the sustainable development of urban. "Public transportation priority" is the result of many countries has been a long time and practice proven to address urban transport problems panacea. But the strategy for how to make China's " Public transportation priority " work is still need further study.In this paper, we analyzed the meaning of "Public transportation priority " and the related concept, based on the study of many domestic and foreign scholars's research, through the necessity and feasibility analysis of "Public transportation priority", it pointed that giving priority to the development of public transportation actually means give priority to the people, which Reflects the social fairness and efficiency. Then it started with the practice research of a number of cities's "Public transportation priority", gave analysis and categorization of the implementation of our country's" Public transportation priority ", pointed out the main problems we've met. On this basis, through the study of foreign country's and Hong Kong's "Public transportation priority" development experiences, summed up the enlightenment to China's public transportation. Then stated a series of technical measures which including public transportation network optimization, strengthen of rail building and the open up of bus lane from the angle of planning, construction and management. At last it pointed out the Macro-security measures of how to make the strategy of " Public transportation priority " implement.
