This thesis mainly researched bulking strength and fracture of thin plate which is based upon the combined theory of strength and stability (CTSS).The research about thin plate is bridge and transition of research from beam column to shell which also based upon CTSS. Because of the research, CTSS is used more integrative and comprehensive.From the buckling research of thin plate, the thesis makes use of six parameters equation to research thin plate's bulking and expresses its uniform formula in any case. Besides these, the paper also discusses integrated factor n and gets analytical expression of thin plate's buckling in some cases.From the nonlinear research of thin plate, the paper make use of the theory of tangent modulus (four parameters equation) to establish the method which uses linear fracture critical stress to calculate nonlinear fracture critical stress. Any more, get the critical stress expression of thin plate's nonlinear fracture and verify the expression with real example.At last, the paper concludes and expresses the relationship of stability between plate and beam on elastic foundation, plate and spherical shell. With the relationships, it is easier to calculate the stability of spherical.
