The identification and signal sorting of radiation sources is one of the key technologies in ARM(Anti-Radiation Missile)'s design. When the radar database is invalid, the task of detection the signal from fatal attacked target is the main content of this paper.The radiation source characteristics are analyzed in this paper. The algorithms in time domain and frequency domain using the accurate sequence's extraction are discussed mainly. The statistical characteristic of the pulse space angle of arrival is analyzed, from the aspect of area division. According to different target areas based on the measured angle of arrival by ARM, the principles of area division are obtained. The area having many pulses is chosen as the object area, for the same radar target. The improved optimization method of tracking area is given, that is the center of pulse is set as the center of tracking area. The center should be refreshed in the tracking process.On such basis, a new algorithm using space probability statistic is presented. The simulation of radiation source tracking is given in two aspects, including feasibility and tracking performance. The Matlab program and its result are also obtained. In the end, the implementation scheme using FPGA is given, to apply in anti-radiation signal processing system. The problems of sorting strategy, synchronization of pulse parameter and information storage are discussed.In this algorithm, the fuzzy processing method is used to process unbound target information. The disadvantages of complexity increasing with high signal density are overcome. The problem of priority of attacking frequency hopping target is also resolved. Simulation results and test results in real electromagnet environment show that, this algorithm has excellent performance in practice.
